Pivotal MMD 2009 Now Generally Available

The Pivotal Money Market Directories product allows Pivotal investment management customers to import and manage Standard & Poor’s money market data within the context of the Pivotal CRM product.

Pivotal MMD 2009 is the updated version of this product for the 2009 modifications of the Standard and Poor’s data.

What’s new in MMD 2009

Pivotal MMD 2009 has been updated to take advantage of the Pivotal 6.0 platform, as a result of that, the following are new to MMD 2009:

· 6.0 UI and navigation

  • MMD 2009 uses subjects, topics, and new and improved smart client forms which make the MMD information easy to read as well make use of the P6.0 features such as advanced searching.

· MMD 2009 data structure changes

  • All data structure changes to the S&P MMD 2009 data files have been incorporated in the Pivotal MMD 2009 application.

· SQL / Oracle import scripts

  • By using SQL/Oracle import scripts to bring the S&P flat files into the Pivotal CRM database, significant performance gains were realized resulting in faster than ever quarterly import processes.

· Pivotal 5.9 import procedures

  • For users of 5.9 systems that require the 2009 updates, step by step instructions have been included to ensure that all data element changes for 2009 are incorporated into the 5.9 system as well as how to use the import scripts to populate these systems.

This new release of the MMD is intended for use with the financial services 6.0.1 application.

Availability

The MMD 2009 application is now available for download by licensed customers and partners from the CDC Software customer and partner portal under Product downloads (Pivotal Products) In addition, all Product documentation for MMD 2009 has been made available under Product documentation section of the customer and partner portal.

CDC Pivotal CMS V6.0.2 Now Generally Available

CMS V6.0.2 Now Generally Available

Pivotal CMS 6.0.2 is the base application to be used with Pivotal 6.0 SP2 and later implementations.

The CMS product contains the sales, marketing and services applications that are used by users of Pivotal CRM.

Using CMS 6.0.2, you can experience the new user interface, navigation, and enhanced usability of Pivotal Client that translates to improved functionalities. CMS 6.0.2 also demonstrates enhanced integration with Microsoft Outlook and platform SP2 features. CMS 6.0.2 is flexible and can be customized for different verticals.

What’s new in CMS V6.0.2

The CMS6.0.2 has the same functionality as previous versions of the CMS application with the following modifications:

  • Relationship Tree
    • Pivotal CMS 6.0.2 offers you the Relationship Tree feature using the .NET Tree Control. Pivotal CMS 6.0.2 allows users to view Contact, Company, and Region data relationships organized in a tree-view. You can customize the system to create other new trees.
  • Action Plans
    • Pivotal CMS 6.0.2 allows users to apply action plans using a Microsoft Outlook account. When users apply an action plan, the tasks are:
      • Self assigned to the logged-in user.
      • Displayed in Outlook for the Employee/Account Manager, depending on to whom the action plan step is assigned.
      • Displayed in the Activities tab for the contact/partner, depending on to whom the action plan step is assigned.
  • System-wide Default Task Pad
    • In Pivotal CMS 6.0.2, the new system-wide default Task Pad provides default tasks for users when there are no specific contextual tasks relevant to the form currently open in Pivotal Client. This new release of the CMS is intended for customer implementations and is compatible with all the latest Pivotal 6.0 SP2 and later products.
